1. Dungeon Siege Freeze

Dear fellow gamers who love Dungeon Siege II,I come to you with good news. The easiest solution I found was to run the game in windowed mode. Force it, anyway.If you right click on the game in your library and click on Properties, go to 'Set Launch Options'. There you need to force the game to run in windowed mode by typing 'fullscreen=false'; you can force your in-game resolution the same way by typing 'height=1920 width=1080', or whatever your screen resolution is. The resolution fix does not do much in terms of in-game visuals, though, it basically just affects the user interface. They don't read the previous comments.My solution is basically the same but you can run the game without being logged into Steam.P.S. I have found that a resolution of 1600x900 is optimal for the game (especially if your monitor is 1080p). This is the last basic resolution that provides a legible HUD (depending on your display - mine is a 21' display).

It took me most of the night last might to figure it out, although not 100% it's as close as it's going to get for now and, it's rather simple too. If you're like most of us, still gaming at 1080p do exactly this. Works for other popular resolutions too I did test it. This will allow you to play the game normally without borders/maximizing your non full screen game. Meaning everyone I know that has been able to play the game is playing it with the 'bordered maximized windowed' way.
